Last Saturday, I thought I'll be heading with my dad to pick up leftovers he had from his latest project at a home on Oakmont Avenue. It was quite a drive up a tall hill north of Fourth Street, with a long, winding road that went beyond H Street. And when we came to the place, the homeowner said that he will take care of the wood debris by renting a truck from downtown, making the workload much easier. So instead of working, I took pictures of gorgeous views of Mount Tamalpais, the highest peak in Marin County, and the Ross Valley below. Just stunning photos indeed.
This year's Holy Week is pretty unusual in that instead of me traveling just on Good Friday to head to churches, I also managed to walk around areas in Oakland and San Francisco that I have not visited on foot before. The first part focuses on my walk around Lake Merritt towards Downtown Oakland. |
