An additional 35 scholars have been selected to enroll in an automobile technology course. This latest batch has recently undergone orientation and Youth in Focus-Capacity Building Trainings and Outreach Programs these past months and is set to graduate by the end of the year. In line with Caltex’s vision, this initiative drives the development of branded workshops that make genuine Caltex lubricants and excellent mechanical services more accessible to motorists.

Three years strong, the scholarship has produced 55 graduates, with the most recent batch receiving Conduct, Industry, and Service Awards during their March 2026 graduation. The program has ensured that th trainees are TESDA-certified to practice in the profession. It also exposed trainees to employment opportunities, with 78% of graduates now working in various auto mechanic shops and dealerships.

Additionally, CPI has also tapped Bulacan State University (BulSu) as another educational partner. Here, the brand has funded five college students pursuing an undergraduate degree in industrial technology. Its support has motivated the students to go above and beyond in their studies, with all five maintaining grades ranging from 1.1 to 1.7.

BulSu scholar Gerald Aldrin C. Pineda thanked CPI for helping fund his studies, saying, “Chevron continually gives me a reason to pursue my studies despite the difficulty of successfully overcoming an entire semester. I will strive to continue being a deserving scholar of Chevron to show that they did not make a mistake in choosing me as a student with a deep desire to finish my studies despite all the difficulties.”
